PLM offers a reliable global container sea freight service through its various connections with leading Carriers. This ensures frequent sailings and space availability at very competitive freight rates for Full Container Load (FCL) to and from most worldwide destinations.
We also offer a consolidation sea freight service to / from worldwide destinations for merchandise and goods that do not fill a container or Less Than Container Load - (LCL).
In addition, we can charter specialised vessels for consignments that are too large, or are not suitable for container transport.

Global Groupage Service LCL Cargo
If your overall cargo volume does not meet our Full Container requirements, we can still offer you a cost saving by consolidating your consignments into our regular Groupage or LCL service. This means your cargo is combined with other shipping consignments headed for the same destination. By amortising these costs, we are able to offer savings that we pass onto whoever is ultimately paying the freight.
Project Cargo Shipping
Take the hassle out of moving oversized, heavy, fragile or complex cargo to either main line destinations or to remote destinations anywhere worldwide . Nothing is too big or too complex that it cannot be moved. We have over twenty seven years experience in global project services. Our senior management are dedicated, project management professionals, who will assess your freight transport requirements and have your project cargo relocated from origin site and delivered to destination site, on time and within budget.
Customs and Quarantine Clearance
Australian Customs and Quarantine formalities for the clearance of import or export consignments are highly regulated in Australia. The correct preparation and completion of the clearance procedures are critical, as heavy penalties may be applied if the incorrect details are submitted for your cargo.
PLM can ensure the correct documentation is completed and the importing or exporting procedures followed to minimise any delays.
With our partners in the Customs Clearance sector, systems are electronically linked to the Australian Customs Service, the Australian Quarantine Service and various other Federal Government Departments to ensure that we can access duty rates, duty concessions and other information that is required in an instant.
Should you decide to utilise our overseas forwarding network, we will provide electronic import documents well before your shipment is due to arrive. This procedure allows the processing of the customs and quarantine formalities in advance of the actual cargo arrival at the destination port, ensuring that any problems are identified well in advance of cargo arrival.

From small vans, trucks, conventional semi trailers, tailgate lifters, side loaders, to the most complex low loaders, over dimensional vehicles and cranes of all descriptions, we are able to ensure that the correct equipment is utilised to move your cargo irrespective of how complex your logistical needs are.
Full Service Warehousing

Special Equipment
We can provide specialist Bulk Liquid Containers, Food Grade ISO Tanks and Flexitanks for the transport of : Alcoholic Beverages, Wines, Spirits, Tallow, Chemicals, etc. If it is in liquid form, then we may be able to offer you a solution to your bulk liquid shipping needs.
We can also provide Refrigerated Containers for the transport of perishable products such as Fruit, Vegetables, Meat and Poultry, Ice Cream and a host of other products that require refrigeration. From temperature and humidity controlled, to absolute frozen, there is a refrigerated container to suit your product.
Hazardous and Dangerous Goods Handling
PLM is able to also handle all of your Dangerous Goods shipping needs, either by air or by sea.
The shipment of Dangerous or Hazardous Goods is a specialized art requiring very special handling, in accordance with the rules and regulations set down, not only by the airlines or shipping lines, but by each respective port world wide. It is a very complex part of the logistics chain that requires specialist training, and senior management of PLM are fully trained and licensed in Dangerous or Hazardous Goods Handling.
Sale and Lease of Containers
If your business requires Containers of any size, description or application, for any purpose whatsoever, PLM is able to arrange the Supply, Leasing, or Conversion of shipping containers to suit your application.
